How Should You Start?

The next biggest step with travling is the "how."

How do I get there? Can I drive? What airline is the best or the cheapest? Does that airline have sales? When is that airline the cheapest?

Where do I stay? Should I rent an AirBNB or VRBO, or should I book a hotel? Will I have to choose between cleanliness and price? How close will this place be to where I want to be?

How will I get around? Is it a walkable town or city? Will Ubers be too costly? Do I have to wait in a long line at the airport for a rental car?

Let me put your mind at ease: I can help you with every aspect of your vacation planning! Just contact me through my email below, and I can help you set up the trip of a lifetime!

Tips and Tricks

Start with how you are going to get to your destination; it can be the most expensive piece of the trip, but also the most in demand (if you are flying). Next should come the stay: rentals and hotels are everywhere, and you can find anything in your budget no matter what. Last should be transportation, because again, it can be worked out whenever, as there are more options.
Plan experiences very last, but ahead of the trip if you're wanting to do anything that requires buying tickets or making reservations.

  • Book flights in advance. If it is an impulse trip, book your flight as soon as possible before you leave, but do it on a weekday, preferrably on Tuesday (that is when flights are cheapest).

  • Look for a flight that includes baggage in the fee, if you need more than just a backpack or a carry-on. Most airlines do not include baggage in the initial fee, so be sure to check the hidden fees before booking the flight.

  • When looking for a hotel or a rental, be sure to check where it will be in relation to things you want to do/visit and places you want to see. If it allows you to walk or Uber for cheap, it will save you money.

  • If you are planning on traveling longer distances throughout your vacation, Turo is the way to go for transportation. It is cheap, reliable, and easy to use.

  • Alternatively, if the city you are going to has a metro, it is the cheapest way to travel outside of the area you are staying in, if that is of interest to you.
