What Should You Bring?
One of the most exciting parts about traveling is packing what you are going to need for a new city, state, or country. Not every geographical landscape or city's weather is the same, and knowing what to bring with you is vital to how your vacation turns out. Not to mention, packing your cute new clothes you bought for the trip is a must for all of the pictures you will be taking! Let's talk packing the essentials!

Tropical
Think sand, sun, and sea.
Warm weather, light clothes. Here, we are sticking to packing light. I always bring shorts and tank tops with sandals, but make sure to bring at least one pair of pants and one jacket (I like to have a jacket that goes with all of my outfits). Don't forget a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen, and bug spray where it's humid. If you will be in the sand, bring a bag that doesn't track it all back!
Outdoorsy
Think mountains, hiking, and changing weather.
Cooler weather, warmer clothes. If you are in the mountains, the higher up you are, and the cooler it will be. I opt for pants, usually not denim material, with boots or sneakers, and sweaters to put over a t-shirt. Here, a hat, some sunglasses, and sunscreen would also do you good - maybe add some bug spray too. A tote or a backpack may be better for carrying other essentials!

City
Think walking, shopping, and eating.
Style meets comfort. Cities are usually for walking, but that does not mean you have to skip out on making it fashionable too. Go for pants that are comfortable and moveable, and shirts with a jacket to match. I have found some stylish sneakers that don't ruin a cute outfit at any store that sells shoes. Having a cross-body bag makes the trip light!
New Country
Think long flight, several days, different weather/landscapes, and no laundry.
Traveling to a new country - or countries - you are probably on the go, packing light, but also need to make sure you have enough for the length of time you are gone. And doing laundry may be nonexistent. Packing jeans or pants you can wear multiple times takes away some heavy baggage. Shirts can be t-shirts or tank tops, and all you have to do is add a jacket if needed - I recommend one light and one heavy, depending on weather, that both go with all of your outfits. For shoes, you want a walking pair, a nicer pair for a nice dinner, and breathable shoes, like sandals. Top it off with a hat, sunglasses, and a light handbag or cross-body!
